Visit Dobre

At our estate, all the elements that shape our wines converge. Nature intertwines with culture; soil, climate, history, local architecture and human craftsmanship together determine what is ultimately sealed within the bottle.

We begin with a tour of the vineyard – the place where everything begins. Ascending the limestone hill in vintage Land Rovers, we walk among the vines and speak about the literal meaning of terroir: how site-specific conditions and our viticultural approach influence the ripening fruit. Here, our focus rests firmly on nature.

We then proceed to the winery and barrel cellar. Within these walls, we discuss the decisions and philosophy that shape the style of our wines. Modernity and tradition are interwoven not only in our approach to winemaking, but also in the architecture itself. Limestone and timber – materials deeply rooted in the heritage of the Kazimierz Dolny region – form the foundation of our cultural terroir. Here, the emphasis shifts to process and to the human hand which, through attentive observation of the environment, guides and shapes the wine.

We follow the journey of the grape - from vine to wine.

The experience culminates in a tasting. We will host you with six wines from our current portfolio, served alongside artisanal cheeses from trusted local cheesemakers, presented on ceramics crafted by my wife, Ania.

Terroir, as mentioned at the outset, is not solely the climate in which the grapes ripen. It also encompasses their wider context – regional produce, craftsmanship and the broader atmosphere of the place. Here, you will experience the full expression of Dobre.

We also welcome organised groups. We are delighted to host you and your family, a group of friends or corporate guests. For special events, please contact us by email –  we will be pleased to discuss the possibilities. Private visits on individually arranged dates are available for a minimum of eight participants. Details are agreed on individually.
